I Love, Therefore I Am

I'm 21 years old.
I'm a senior at Smith College majoring in neuroscience, minoring in chemistry and fulfilling pre-med requirements--pediatric neurosurgery, here I come.
I love to laugh.
I love my friends.
I love my family.
I love my adorable little nephews and niece.
I love movies, especially war and sports movies for some reason.
I love to read.
I am an incredibly random person.
I am a hopeless romantic.
Oh and I have a pretty amazing boyfriend.
Life is pretty freakin' good.

Thanks Smith.

That awkward moment when Smith automatically makes the assumption that my parents have helped finance my college education based off of their annual income. Um, where’s the option for supporting myself throughout college? K, thanks.

No matter how careful you are, there’s going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn’t experience it all. There’s that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should’ve been paying attention.
Well, get used to that feeling. That’s how your whole life will feel some day.
This is all practice.

GPOY. I think I am dying. I am laying in bed, and I never want to move, breathe, cough, blow my nose, or stand up ever again.

a) I want a bathtub like this at some point in my life.

b) I’d be more than happy to share it with Patrick Dempsey.
